Meet Chiropractors of Body Basics Chiropractic

Introducing Dr. Jeff Psota

Meet Dr. Jeff Psota

Hello, I am Dr. Jeff Psota and I founded Body Basics Chiropractic in 2003. Since the practice was established it has been my goal to help provide the most comprehensive care to every patient. My undergraduate studies were undertaken at the University Nebraska Lincoln, with my graduate studies taking place at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City.

While at Cleveland College I was highly interested in injury management. Because of my interest I furthered my education by taking additional studies in Movement Systems and Motion Palpation. With these studies I have been highly trained in treating chronic movement disorders as well as acute sports injuries. In fact I was introduced to chiropractic due to my own injury while playing sports. I have also spent significant time studying pain management and treatment of whiplash injuries. In fact a lot of chronic pain syndromes start as whiplash injuries.

Dr. Hadlock Asks some important questions of interest to Johnson County residents - Chiropractor Johnson County Dr. Hadlock Asks...

What are the two things drugs do?
Drugs can either speed up (laxatives, amphetamines, caffeine) a bodily process, or slow down (stomach antacids, sleep aids, antihistamines, muscle relaxers) a bodily process. Chiropractic care can produce the same results, but relies on the intelligence of the body. Chiropractors trust your body. Do you?
What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
