With over 100 years of combined chiropractic experience, this is a group that knows how to keep bodies moving.
Care From People Who Understand the Game
Our doctors aren’t just treating athletes. They are athletes. Dr. Dallis Rogers is a competitive golfer and a former national champion racquetball player with firsthand experience of elbow, shoulder, and back injuries from swinging sports. Dr. Liperuote was a college wrestler and now works with much of the Overland Park wrestling community. Dr. Hadlock was a competitive weight lifter and tennis player. And Dr. Psota is an avid skier.
Dr. Liperuote is also pursuing TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certification, bringing additional knowledge of golf swing mechanics and golf-related injuries into patient care. That combination of personal experience and continued education gives patients care from providers who genuinely understand what they’re feeling physically and mentally.
What Brings Athletes Through the Door
Some patients come in looking to improve performance, especially golfers who want better flexibility and range of motion. But most athletes first visit after an injury starts interfering with the activities they love.
Common concerns we see include tennis elbow, shoulder pain, muscle strains, knee pain, joint sprains, back discomfort, and overuse injuries from sports like golf, wrestling, and especially pickleball. Many pickleball players are active adults who suddenly go from very little activity to playing multiple hours each week, which can create everything from elbow pain to mobility issues and muscle strain.
Performance, Recovery, and Injury Prevention
After a thorough evaluation, care is built around your sport, injury, activity level, and goals. Progress is reevaluated regularly, and patients benefit from collaboration between all four chiropractors. If another doctor’s experience is a better fit for a specific injury or movement issue, transitions between providers are seamless.
Regular chiropractic care can also support mobility, flexibility, coordination, and injury prevention. When joints become restricted and muscles tighten, the body stops moving efficiently, increasing the risk of strains and repetitive stress injuries. Keeping the spine and surrounding muscles functioning properly helps athletes move more naturally and perform with greater confidence. Our practice also provides sports physicals for middle school and high school athletes and has helped many young athletes continue into Division I and professional competition.
