Dr. Dallis Rogers

Getting on the Path Toward Chiropractic

Always highly competitive in sports. Dr. Dallis thought he wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. “I planned on going to medical school and changed my mind at the last second. I decided instead to go to chiropractic college after I was treated by a chiropractor for the first time.” Earning his undergraduate degree at Fort Hays State University, Dr. Dallis continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating in 2006. He had planned on being a chiropractor just for athletes. Then, however, when he got to school he realized that chiropractic isn’t just for athletes but everybody. Before coming to Body Basics Chiropractic, Dr. Dallis worked at a large practice in Olathe for nine years. Though he enjoyed caring for the many patients there, he wanted to work at a smaller, more patient-focused facility. That’s when he decided to join the Body Basics Chiropractic team. He likes the laid-back atmosphere at the practice and enjoys interacting with patients. “We never turn anybody away and get superb results.” Dr. Dallis also likes that the fact that the practice does a lot for patients outside of the clinic.

Helping Patients, Naturally

What Dr. Dallis finds most appealing about chiropractic is treating people without the use of drugs or surgery. He particularly likes helping auto accident victims and those with chronic conditions such as neck pain and headaches.

I can see instant results just by using my hands.

“I have patients who have had headaches their entire life and were about to give up. They had tried every drug and everything else. They come in and get treated a few times, and their headaches go away for the first time in as long as they can remember. It’s gratifying when they tell me that I’ve changed their life.” Dr. Dallis loves to see his patients get better quickly. He enjoys treating lots of different types of patients ranging from small children to seniors. Dr. Dallis takes the time to listen to his patients to find out what’s going on with them. “I dive deep to determine the true cause and not just the symptoms.” Dr. Dallis is a member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association and has been featured on CBS twice about treating people with tech neck. He is also a Certified Medial Examiner and performs DOT physicals for those holding a commercial motor vehicle license.
